Our Work Statement
My name is Suhailah and my experience as an African-American Muslim, from one of the greatest cities on earth, Durham, NC, is what lead to my passion for supporting my community in the most efficient way I can, through funding.
At Giving Geeks, we share this passion for development and philanthropy by helping nonprofits connect with more donors. We seek to create and enhance funding strategy, operational and development processes to provide support in strategic fundraising opportunities for philanthropic institutions.
Our work process is designed to provide distinguished support to empower your team.
We focus on ethical fundraising that is centered around the specific needs of the communities we serve.
Recognizing and endorsing the power of community-led organizations is extremely important, especially in the effort to provide thoughtful solutions that affect the BIPOC community.
As organizers, we have the privilege of sharing some of the most important missions and messages, and in order to be successful, we must always make room for voices that are not being recognized.
This work, cannot be done without showing gratitude to every changemaker that came before us and to all the social justice fighters in front of us.
Thank you for doing your part to make this world a better place for all of us. ✊🏾
Suhailah works with your team to provide temporary or long-term development support to make sure the job gets done with efficient processes that follow.
Ensuring prompt, and clear communications with donors while preserving the accuracy and integrity of the department's donor database.
We know building out your donor portfolio is hard. We'll work with your team to convert supporters and change makers into impactful donors.
We provide operational support that will prepare your organizations with efficient processes of data management and funding opportunities.
Your organization's mission is vital for the progression of the community. To encourage powerful action, we'll collaborate to ensure a clear and direct brand message.

She has a natural, intuitive approach to fundraising and isn’t afraid to pursue “the ask.” She particularly shines in her ability to strategize peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, anticipating the needs of the fundraisers who she manages—offering them every tool and resource to be successful.
