the Author

Suhailah Waheed has served in the social impact industry professionally for the last three years. After graduating with her B.A. in 2016, from her hometown university, North Carolina Central University, she moved to Austin, TX.

 

She began volunteering and working in her community to support women's issues. Her love for literature and impact grew as she penned her first book, "Tales From The Clothesline" in 2017. Her passion for women's rights led her to serve on the board for The Young Women's Alliance and now as an executive board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
